One of the gems we found in the Birkman Archive was The Birkman Molecule developed by Larry Lee, PhD. In this webinar, we will dive into his flagship model and provide an in-depth discussion of several Birkman concepts.

What is the significance of this model?

Dr. Lee was inspired to create The Birkman Molecule after working extensively with The Birkman Method during his career at Boeing. He began to notice common patterns and connections between each of the Components and realized they play a significant role in an individual’s behavior. He created this model to serve as a cheat sheet to help others better understand and apply Birkman data. 

Updated with current Component names, we will use Dr. Lee’s research to explore the ways Components are connected and interact with one another to define the inherent characteristics that make each of us different.

All of these on-demand modules are fantastic, and this one really stands out. It helped me tie everything together.

I had hoped to gain more insights about how the molecule concept was conceived. What drove its development? Why were the components paired as they were? Why were the titles chosen for each pair? What benefit was gained by pairing these components. I would love to know how to use this molecule concept in a Team Birkman interpretation. How can it be used by those in attendance? A paired discussion? A group discussion? What self-reflection activities could be used to deepen the learning experience? Are there any examples to share from others who have used this construct in their practices?

Content was exceptional! Sound quality was a bit lacking in places and there were numerous background interferences. Also, there is no option to download the powerpoint which would be tremendously helpful. Outstanding content though and really REALLY insightful.
